JASPER!

posted Aug 27, 2014, 6:02 PM by Nathan Clark

Outright Adventure Company is now unofficially located in Jasper Alberta, and will be slowly up and running as the year continues on.  As the rules and policies become clearer, OAC will be up and running by the new year.  We are proud to be able to join the numerous guiding companies and outfitters within the area, and we look forward to being able to provide a quality service alongside the many fine establishments in Jasper.

Spring and Fall Hikes, and Photography!

posted Mar 8, 2014, 4:39 PM by Nathan Clark

Spring and Fall hikes will be posted shortly, as well as a downloadable brochure.  New this year - Outdoor Photography and specific hikes designed specifically around stopping and taking pictures.  Should be a great year - stay tuned!

New Trip Resgistrations

posted Nov 8, 2013, 9:41 PM by Nathan Clark

We've partnered with Rezgo, an online booking site that seems to be quite amazing so far.  Still working out the kinks, but trips are now available through the site.  Click the BOOK NOW button to get detailed information, including meeting times, what to bring, pictures of the trip, plus how many spots are left, etc.  Probably the coolest thing we've added is the 3 Punch and 10 Punch Pass cards, which will allow hikers/snowshoers to get hikes/snowshoe trips for a discounted price without committing to three specific hikes (as has been the case in the past).  Should be available shortly - stay tuned!

New for 2014

posted Sep 9, 2013, 10:56 AM by Nathan Clark

Next year, Outright Adventure Company will be handling its own registrations directly through the website.  Hopefully this will cut down on the confusion of how to register for courses - all registrations and payment will be processed here or (in select cases) at the trailhead or course.  The plan is to have this up and running by the end of October.

Site Overhaul

posted Jan 30, 2013, 12:39 AM by Nathan Clark

Again my apologies to those waiting in anticipation for site changes - I am currently in the process of changing everything and making it somewhat clearer how to navigate around.  I am making an individual description page for every trip to make it easier to explain what to bring, where to meet, etc and it allows people to see where trips have been in the past, which trips they might want to hire privately in the future, etc.  If you see things that are a bit messed up or missing over the next month, let me know - I am hoping to clean this up significantly to make it as presentable as possible.

New Courses soon to be posted

My apologies to all who have arrived at this site looking for more information regarding the Winter 2013 courses found in the Red Deer Recreation Guide - fully detailed courses and descriptions will be posted on the site by Sunday, December 16.  For now, please feel free to email me directly for more information regarding the courses, or with any questions you may have.  nathan@outright.adventure.ca or outright.adventure@gmail.com

UPDATE: Registration Date

Hiking Registration

posted Mar 8, 2012, 9:27 AM by Nathan Clark

Just a quick note to all trying to sign up for the hiking lectures/courses - the City of Red Deer 'looknbook' site does not officially open until March 12.  If you are interested in a hike or lecture, have your course code # ready, and from March 12 on you will be able to register.
